Running for Mortals
Bringing the joy of running to everyone
Jenny Hadfield teams up with husband and coauthor John “The Penguin” Bingham to lay out strategies for novice runners that will help them safely and effortlessly integrate their new sport into their busy schedules.
I am really excited about the Disney Princess Half Marathon (my first)… and nervous, but mostly excited
. The Mortals program really has been terrific. I used “Running for Mortals” for my first 10K, and knew I wanted to keep with your programs. Every time I set out for a new, longer distance on the program, I am nervous, but then am amazed because I feel so terrific after, both physically and mentally. It really does prepare you very well.
Running (going on my 2nd year) is changing my life, and your books have been a huge part of that. THANK YOU again for the passes, but even more for sharing your knowledge and encouragement with us all, and helping Mortals everywhere make changes for the better.
Thanks again and again,
Wendy

Marathoning for Mortals
Run or Walk a Half or Full Marathon
Once considered a superhuman accomplishment, the Marathon and Half Marathon are now within the reach of mortals everywhere. Let Jenny and John show YOU the road to the Finish Line.
Jenny and John,
Just a short thank you note to the both of you. I ran the PF Chang 1/2 Marathon in Phoenix this past weekend in 2:12. I am a 57 year old male that was, until 18 months ago, a chain smoker. I was at the starting line rested and injury free, and ended the race with a smile on the face. I could not have accomplished any of this without following your excellent training program in Marathoning For Mortals.
Warmest regards,
Michael Kimber
